It's true that if you don't somehow learn how to deal with the good the bad and the ugly you'll go crazy but never the less I wonder everyday why is this all happening what really is going on here? I don't have a really good answer for the meaning of life at this point personal tragedy large scale stuff that affects thousands, the explanation eludes me.

Changing Perspectives
by snowbird inthere are times - or will come times - in our lives when things happen that are so horrible they are beyond belief.. after going through such trials, we are never the same again.. our whole outlook, how we view or respond to certain situations, how we interact with others, is impacted.. these things can make us or break us.. somehow, though, the majority of us make it.. my thanks and kudos to those who help us make it!

The "feel good" thread
by StoneWall inwhat are some things you are looking forward to doing that really make you feel good?.
i got the brakes all changed on our mountain bikes(bicycles not motorcycles) yesterday so i'm hoping the weather.
holds out so we can go biking later on today.. since it's now the month of may, later on this month looking forward to grilling out,camping, hiking, boating and various.

Funny moments at the field service
by XPeterX ini once went door to door with a 300+ lbs (fat) elder and the first guy who came out told him:"you should look like him" pointing at me with his finger.at first i didn't realise what he was talking about.at the end the man said to the elder clearly:"lose that fat and get thin like that young man (me)"the elder got embarassed and said "ok i will" (never did tho) but i couldn't stop laughing .

this is a odd event at he kh I was standing next to a woman who had alzheimers she was in a wheelchair and was the wife of a new brother a overweight young woman a bible study came over to be kind to the alzheimer woman but as she approached the woman in the wheelchair yelled out "I can't get away from these fat people" talk about an embarrassing moment she handled it well I think it reminded me of the time I turned to the person next to me at a potluck and said don't eat that its terrible and she was the one who made it. stuff like that happens.

If you felt/feel that you had/have good, close "friends" in the org, how did/does it feel to just give them up?
by Crisis of Conscience inthis is my biggest dilema.
although mentally i really feel i could walk away from the org right now, i still have genuine love for the people i have come to know over the years.
i love people!.

I believe in following your conscience whatever the cost and it does cost.I don't know if they ever really were my friends people are strange I'm not even sure about my feelings at this point I don't hate or even dislike them even though I was turned into the inquisition. I was looking for real answers not necessarily alot of friends and this turned out to be a dead end in my search so in good conscience I had to leave to maintain my integrity. I guess i wish them all well and hope they wake up before they have squandered whats left of their lives.
